Welcome to Canterbury Badminton Shop.  We are a new shop located inside the V.R. Skellerup Badminton Hall, Christchurch.

     "Our Aim - To help and Support the Badminton Canterbury and to Have a Name that Represents The Sport."                

Judging and choosing racquets is very subjective, and sometimes it’s difficult to judge if a racquet is suitable for you, even though you've used it for a few years, it's just that you've probably got used to it. A lightweight, top of the model and price range racquet is not necessary the most suitable choice for you, and on the other hand, an inexpensive and rigid racquet does not mean it is out-of-date or poorly built. But for certain, choosing an unsuitable racquet can affect your performance on court, and in the extreme case, damage your wrist.

The aim of Canterbury Badminton Shop is to offer you the time and convenience yet the privacy to look through our broad selection of racquets, apparels and accessories for the sport of badminton. We are the first and only badminton Pro-Shop in the South Island, so we can offer advice specific to badminton. After all, we play the game ourselves. Specifications of each racquet are clearly shown and recommendations are given on the models available to aid prospective buyers find the most suitable choice. Moreover, we also provide demo racquets for you to try out. 

We are conveniently located at the Canterbury Badminton Hall so you can have a hit to find out which racquet is most suited to you. This is one of the main reasons why we are located at the Badminton Hall. So do pay us a visit and we'll try our best to help find you, your perfect badminton gear.
